Mulch Installation
Mulch does more than tidy up a bed — it holds moisture in our sandy soil, blocks weeds before they start, and protects roots from summer heat. We install premium mulch in brown, black, or red.
Our process
Getting that clean finished look is mostly preparation. It routinely takes longer than spreading the mulch, and skipping it is why some jobs look unprofessional a month later.
- Bed prep — smoothing existing dirt and mulch, redefining bed edges.
- Weed treatment — existing weeds are sprayed so they don't grow up through the new mulch.
- Spreading — laid to the correct depth and smoothed, with care not to pile it against plant bases or your siding.
- Pre-emergent — applied after installation to help prevent new weeds for months.
- Cleanup — all paved areas blown off, debris hauled away.
- Old mulch removal — optional, only needed if you're switching mulch types.
Aluminum edging
Premium aluminum landscape edging gives beds a clean line and acts as a physical border to keep mulch in and weeds out. It never rusts, comes in black, bronze, silver, or brown, and lowers the cost of re-mulching in future seasons compared to natural edges that need redefining every year.
Sod Installation
When a lawn is too far gone for treatment, new sod is the fastest way to a full, even yard. We handle the prep, the install, and the follow-up so it actually takes root.
- Removal and grading of the existing surface
- Soil prep so roots establish instead of sitting on hardpan
- Fresh sod laid tight with staggered seams
- Watering and care instructions for the critical first weeks
Do You Need a Sod Renovation?
Most of the struggling lawns we get called out to aren't struggling because of anything the homeowner did wrong. They're struggling because the wrong grass was planted for the conditions — usually before the homeowner ever moved in.
It happens constantly in our area. A builder puts Bermuda or centipede down across the whole lot, including the side yard that sits in shade most of the day. Both of those grasses need full sun. Give them shade and they thin out, then they start giving ground to weeds and moss, and eventually you're looking at bare dirt. No amount of fertilizer or watering will fix it, because the problem isn't care — it's the grass itself.
A renovation is the fix. We remove the grass that isn't working and install a type that will actually thrive where you have it planted:
- Shaded or partly shaded areas — Zoysia and St. Augustine handle partial shade far better than the alternatives. If your problem spot is under trees or on the north side of the house, this is almost always the answer.
- Heavy foot traffic, kids, and pets — Bermuda takes a beating and bounces back better than anything else we install. Just make sure the area gets full sun, because Bermuda will not tolerate shade.
- You simply want a nicer lawn — Not every renovation starts with a problem. Centipede is a perfectly serviceable grass, but plenty of our clients decide they want the thicker, more finished look of zoysia or St. Augustine. Wanting to upgrade is reason enough.
We can also renovate just one section of the yard. If the front looks great and only the shaded side yard is failing, there's no reason to redo the whole lot.

Why can't I get this price online?
Because an honest number needs eyes on the property. Two homes on the same street can have wildly different bed footage and shrub counts. We'd rather measure it free than quote you something we have to change later.
